Prophets who protect 'other sexual roles' belong to the exogamous mantle and by definition are polytheistic gods (Jesus and Abraham).
But prophets like Moses and Mohammed are placed next to God in the endogamous core and are monotheistic gods.
Prophets are the real gods of the people
There have been thousands of gods in human evolution.
Gods are completely fabricated entities to deliver messages to believers. Not unusual are the hellfire and brimstone sermons to keep the sexual behavior of the people in check.
These gods cannot be talked to by normal people, because nobody would believe. Therefore are prophets who communicate the rules of God to believers. Prophets might also be completely invented, and often 'hear voices', what accompanies schizophrenia and psychosis.
But to be clear, prophets must also be seen as gods, as human gods. Prophets have much more power than gods. Prophets materialize divine power into human proportions. It is basically a transfer of divine power to the sexual dictatorship subjugating the group. Gods and prophets are an indivisible unity. Without gods, no prophets, without prophets, no gods. They form a psychological identity for transforming power to the ruling class.
Important prophets for Islam and Christianity are Mohammed and Jesus. And Moses for Judaism. And it is not for nothing that the religious point of gravity lies with these prophets. Therefore we are not interested in gods so much, but more in their prophets. Prophets are the real gods.
Now remember, Jesus became a polytheistic prophet after being first indoctrinated with the distinctive monotheistic homo-erotic relationship with his Jewish God. Not to say Jesus was gay, but the Romans who designed Christianity decided to frame him that way. And so, Jesus became the savior from 'other sexual roles':

In addition to being loved by the people there is still another, but weaker criterion to classify prophets. We know in Christianity God has the male heterosexual role, while Jesus is framed into a somewhat masochistic and not very masculine role:

Three men, thought by most commentators to have been angels appearing as men,[citation needed] came to Abraham in the plains of Mamre. After the angels received the hospitality of Abraham and Sarah, "the Lord" revealed to Abraham that he would confirm what he had heard against Sodom and Gomorrah, "and because their sin is very grievous".

Lot refused to give his guests to the inhabitants of Sodom and, instead, offered them his two virgin daughters "which have not known man" and to "do ye to them as [is]good in your eyes". However, they refused this offer, complained about this alien, namely Lot, giving orders, and then came near to break down the door. Lot's angelic guests rescued him and struck the men with blindness and they informed Lot of their mission to destroy the city. Then (not having found even 10 righteous people in the city), they commanded Lot to gather his family and leave. As they made their escape, one angel commanded Lot to "look not behind thee" (singular "thee"). However, as Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed with brimstone and fire from the Lord, Lot's wife looked back at the city, and she became a pillar of salt.
