What is the Jungian concept of the shadow?
The shadow is an archetype that consists of the sex and life instincts.
The shadow exists as part of the unconscious mind and is composed of repressed ideas, weaknesses, desires, instincts, and shortcomings. The shadow forms out of our attempts to adapt to cultural norms and expectations.

2: There is no interaction between conscious and unconscious: REJECTED.

Another possibility is that there is no mutual influence between conscious and unconscious. There is no direction of influence whatsoever between the conscious and the unconscious, where on both sides autonomous personalities reside. Also the identity of the unconscious personality is dissociated from the conscious personality. And then we really would have a guilt allocation problem.

Well, the latter is correct, the unconscious personality is dissociated from the conscious personality. But we know that both personalities are physiologically connected in the brain, so there must be some kind of cooperation in killing the daughter.
