Reincarnation is at least connected to reality, to a sexual instinct. But resurrection uproots women from the real world. One cannot appreciate human religion without first controlling for animal religion.
This blog attempts to develop human religion from animal religion,
initiating the gradual transition to human religion from Homo erectus (2.2 Mya; 900cc), although Homo naledi (2.3 Mya-236 Ka; 550cc) from Australopithecus had a more fundamental religion without the soul:
But to refer to animal 'religion' at all would immediately be ridiculing human religion, because - as an example - the existence of God cannot be made plausible on the basis of the Alpha male in animal religion.
On the other hand, the existence of God is not really what human religion is all about. On this blog animal religion is defined as sexuality based on reproduction, on breeding, upon which human religion as a moral and philosophical construct was later built.
But it is all fake morality (e.g. 'honor' of the family) in which human males sneaky try to coerce female sexual behavior through religious deception, while in the animal world males and females naturally engage in sexual intercourse through mutual agreement and coordination.
Human male religion deceives women and thereby invokes a male, heterosexual, monotheistic God to coerce women into mating, while men themselves lack the power of persuasion.
In this way, humanity has deceptively changed the rules of animal religion from sexuality projected on breeding to a false morality attached to reproduction, causing successive religions to move further and further away from their origins of animal reproduction:
