The honor killing of Sadia Sheikh (2007)

In 2007, Mudusar Sheik, Sadia Sheikh's 27-year-old brother, shot his sister three bullets in the abdomen, killing her after three days of terrible suffering. It was premeditated that's for sure, but why didn't he just shoot her in the head? No doubt he wanted to punish her, to teach her a lesson. But it is also possible that his intention was not to kill her in the first place, but to prevent her from reproducing with her unbelieving lover (adultery) in the future, so that males of their family would not have to reincarnate into hybrid offspring.
