Explanation table Convergence Theory
This theory from:

has been replaced by:

Our first theory was that the Tree of Knowledge offered the choice to inbreeding or outbreeding. But now we developed a slightly better one, though not really different:

The right interpretation is the Tree of Knowledge leads to outbreeding and the Tree of Life to inbreeding. Therefore we have Eve - as a woman - eating from the Tree of Outbreeding in the Tanakh and Adam - as a man - eating from the Tree of Inbreeding in the Koran.

With advanced knowledge it's no big deal. Both views are legitimate.

=========================================

Homininae started with a mixture of endogamy and exogamy

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ki3rWqtAf8o
(40:41/1:22:30)

Later they developed the saturated endogamous variant:

The first Homininae cultures started as small families roaming in Africa. As a rule they only had sexual relations among themselves except when they encountered other tribes from which they enslaved some women. Otherwise they would die out from autosomal recessive disorders. It is our main assumption that early human cultures were endogamic and developed inbreeding and incest as an instinct to survive as tribal identity.

Assumption 171: Endogamous cultures practice inbreeding and incest as an instinct since Homininae. First inbreeding was tied to genetic immortality, but later to earthly reincarnation, which combination is currently in force: the expectation of earthly reincarnation of tribal males reinforces inbreeding and incest. Hence, first inbreeding served the conservation of genetic immortality of the clan, but later the production of inbred bodies for reincarnation of tribal man prevailed.

The Myth of Paradise

The message of inbreeding and incest should be passed as an initiation rite to boys in puberty. That message was the Paradise story. This lust for inbreeding and incest is bubbling for millions of years on from the darkest recesses of the male's mind and is driven by testosterone. Of origin it has nothing to do with all sorts of deep philosophical considerations of good and evil. Homininae had no time for reflection because they had to pull roots out of the ground to survive. But it may be in the evening campfire, if they made fire already like Homo erectus.

The Myth of the Garden of Eden

Earlier we concluded that honor killings and acid attacks cannot be explained without a very strong drive. And that ‘honor’ is no option. Honor is a hollow shell. It is a rationalization for Muslims who suppress their collective unconscious. Honor also has no cybernetic model and cannot give sharp predictions.

Instead we need a very strong drive, an archetype or even better, an instinct. Something so powerful, that fathers are forced to mass killings on their daughters in a systematic way, thousands of girls a year, millions of women in history.

As claimed before, inbreeding is theoretically involved in honor killings. In our view, it is the only candidate for a super strong instinct. Above all it has been conditioned on reincarnation into the (earthly) universe for millions of years. It follows that inbreeding and incest combined with earthly reincarnation is the unbeatable cause for honor killings and acid attacks:

Assumption 144: Secondary reinforcement:
In primary religion, human inbreeding developed as an operant response
followed by a reinforcing stimulus (of the expectation) of reincarnation into the (earthly) universe. Earthly reincarnation is the prevailing instinctive reward for inbreeding:

Operant response: inbreeding
Primary reinforcing stimulus: genetic immortality in the offspring
Secondary reinforcing stimulus: reincarnation into the (earthly) universe

The interaction between inbreeding and earthly reincarnation must have given great power to tribal patriarchs. Something they would never give up out of freewill:

The interaction between inbreeding and reincarnation combined detached and deceased ancestors, prophets from the era of inbreeding (transcendent gods), with waiting ancestors (immanent gods) from reincarnation. This combination of extrinsic transcendent and intrinsic immanent gods defined the super power of tribal structures. The remembrance of prophets interacting with immanent gods led to perfect control on adulterous cousins. They would inform their husbands immediately about adulterous escapades with Serpents of other tribes.

But above all, inbreeding was not for the genetic mirror of man in his descendants any longer (genetic immortality), but the offspring only served as inbred bodies for reincarnating tribal heads (Muslim males). And that made earthly reincarnation the better reinforcer. That's also our explanation for honor killings and acid attacks.

Within tribal endogamy, refusal of inbreeding is a very clear cause of honor killings, but later in human evolution endogamy developed along ethnic and religious lines.

In Islamic culture tribal inbreeding still exists in the literal sense, but also in a more symbolic way. In order to avoid autosomal recessive disorders it has been mixed with ethnic and religious endogamy. Ethnic inbreeding is an arranged marriage within the own ethnicity and religious endogamy demands a Muslim for a Muslim woman.

We never can speak of complete tribal endogamy. In Islamic culture 30-50% first degree cousin marriages is the norm of inbreeding.

Religious endogamy is practiced in the remaining 50-70% of the population, but here the same tribal rules do still apply: not willing daughters are exiled or killed:

What means that old customs and habits did not change since Paradise Culture of first Homininae, and Islam still deforms her population on SM-dyad:

Now, to proceed, inbreeding looks like an instinct because we suppose it has not changed from the first Homininae and also because it functions like a strong drive without explicit reinforcement or reward. Instincts do not need reinforcement. Nowadays Muslims don't even know why they are so eager for inbreeding, a drive hidden deeply in their collective unconscious.

A further argument is the existence of the Myth of Paradise itself, consisting of pure inbreeding and incest. A better indication of an instinct or archetype can hardly be given.

But indeed we are opportunistic and in desperate need to find the enormous emotional power that explains these gruesome woman slaughters. Western society is running out of time for understanding Islam.

The Holy Grail of the Tree of Knowledge

Too much inbreeding leads to extinction of the tribe, but to less to a loss of tribal identity. It is the dilemma between genetic monoculture and genetic diversity.

It must have fascinated early humans to find the magic potion, the Holy Grail of Panoramix. It is the correct ratio optimizing genetic immortality without derailing into genetic mortality.
Therefore monotheism introduced ethnic and religious endogamy:

The purpose of human religion is the search for eternal life and humans sought for that mechanism just in sexuality. The Holy Grail was a wonderful formula that contained the exact ratio of inbreeding to outbreeding, of good and evil. (In Paradise culture inbreeding is seen as a virtue and is good, in exogamic cultures inbreeding is seen as evil and is colored red).

Sexual Scales

Women slaughter is sacred sexuality, wherein cousins and recalcitrant daughters are sacrificed if not willing to be inseminated with family seed. The killing and murdering of women is not just sex, it is sacred sex, holy sex, its religion.

Women slaughter is the holy disintegration of sadomasochism, a human super instinct built from the drive to kill and sexual lust. It is the breakdown of the SM-dyad after condemnation by Sexual Scales in Religion.

Between daughter and father stands their God, the self-projection of man. The sentence of death by stoning or acid attack is not just great sexual fun for father and son. It is much more complicated and we already gave an explanation on this site.

Now, proceeding, inbreeding and genetic immortality can be translated into the Myth of Paradise. The first Tree of Life happens to be genetic immortality, wherein man formed a genetic mirror of himself in his offspring by saturated inbreeding and incest:

 Assumption 143: Operant conditioning:
Human inbreeding developed as an operant response followed by  a reinforcing stimulus of genetic immortality in the (earthly) universe.

Operant responseinbreeding
Primary reinforcing stimulus: genetic immortality in the offspring

Into:

Operant responseTree of Knowledge
Primary reinforcing stimulus: Tree of Life

This translation is not quite correct because the Tree of Knowledge is not inbreeding per se, but rather offers Eve the choice between inbreeding or outbreeding. It seeks a balance between the seductions of outbreeding with a handsome Serpent, and the offer of inbreeding with her brother Adam, what only preserves genetic immortality for tribal males. But in broader sense it gives the right proportion between good and evil, between inbreeding and outbreeding.

Now, those who have acquired this knowledge are just as clever as God, the tribal patriarch and father of Adam and his little sister Eve, and have to be expelled or killed:

(An alternative interpretation is the Gihon which is a river of the land of Cush, a mountain region in Iran and the Pishon which is now a dry riverbed. All rivers ended in the Persian Gulf. Further, the story of Adam and Eve marks the transition from a hunter-gatherer to a farmer culture (Juris Zarins)).

The complication is that Adam was sent away too because he did not notice the affair of Eve with the Serpent. That's because this initiation rite is meant for young men and wanted to make clear that men had to restrain the natural lust for genetic diversity in women. It also was their fault if women became adulterous. And normally Adam would join the clan again by stoning his cousin sister, but that would be somewhat too coarse for a myth.

Hence, the Tree of Knowledge demonstrates the mental conflict women feel between their natural desires for genetic diversity versus unnatural genetic monoculture. Therefore in exogamous Christianity Eve ate from the Tree of Outbreeding, the Tree of Knowledge and in endogamous Islam Adam  desired genetic monoculture and ate from the Tree of Inbreeding, the Tree of Life (what was permitted by God!!). Many thousand years ago people must have understand better what we have forgotten.

In Islam Adam chooses for the Tree of Life:

(The Quran, Surat Taha [20:120])
Sahih International

Then Satan whispered to him; he said, "O Adam, shall I direct you to the tree of eternity and possession that will not deteriorate?"

Paradise Myth shows SM-dyad

In essencethe Myth of Paradise shows the SM-dyad where genetic monoculture (Tree of Life, males) fights with genetic diversity (Tree of Knowledge, females).

Assumption 170: In endogamic cultures SM-dyad is the fight between male genetic monoculture (Tree of Life) and female genetic diversity (Tree of Knowledge). SM-dyad is called the Myth of Paradise.

Tree of Life (Men) <=== SM-dyad ===> Tree of Knowledge (women)
Tree of Life (Adam) <=== SM-dyad ===> Tree of Knowledge (Eve)
Sadism (Islam) <=== SM-dyad ===> masochism (Christianity)
Sadism (Muslim) <=== SM-dyad ===> masochism (Muslim women)

Only who possesses the knowledge of the relation between inbreeding = 40% and outcrossing = 60% is able to manage the inbreeding culture successfully.

The Convergence Theory of Paradise

We already concluded that the practical implementation of SM-dyad is by inbreeding and incest:

Theoretical derivation of the Myth of Paradise:

Genetic monoculture ===> SM-dyad <=== Genetic diversity
Sadism (Muslim) ===> inbreeding and incest ===> (Muslim woman) masochism
Tree of Life ===> inbreeding and incest ===> Tree of Knowledge
Magical thinking ===> way of thinking ===> rational thinking
Religious instrument ===> inbreeding and incest ===> sexual instrument

Originally, the sadomasochistic factor realizes into SM-dyad by inbreeding and incest. Therein genetic monoculture opposes genetic diversity. In our opinion that also is the exact meaning of the Paradise Myth. Further, religion is based on supra natural thinking or magical thinking, where sexuality is based on natural thinking:

Therefore the factor connecting Tree of Life (males, Adam) with Tree of Knowledge (females, Eve) must be inbreeding and incest. But because there are no data available we simulate a symbolic factor analysis, where we 'rotate' the Tree of Life (Religion) to the Tree of Knowledge (sexuality).

Hence, we play imaginary principal component analysis without data.
We iteratively bend the Tree of Knowledge (Sexuality) to the Tree of Life (Religion), seeking for the common factor f = inbreeding in OR-f-RS. A factor we already have taken for granted.

OR = operant response
RS = reinforcing stimulus

Operant responseTree of Knowledge (inbreeding)
Primary reinforcing stimulus: Tree of Life (genetic immortality)
Secondary reinforcing stimulus: Tree of Life (earthly reincarnation)
Thirdly reinforcing stimulus: Tree of Life (parallel reincarnation)

Three Trees of Life show three stages in human religious development:

Without data we behave unscientifically, of course. On this blog we offer a rational design of religion derived from the animal world. This is no scientific study. We perform a mental or symbolic factor analysis in which we invent the intermediate steps by ourselves. We imagine the necessary iterations between these trees, to obtain convergence to the common factor: inbreeding and incest.

Actually, next analysis has been made already in 2010 and was the start of this blog. It "bubbled up in my collective unconscious by testosterone". Only much later, a rational justification was found. Inbreeding and incest in the yellow area of the figure below were added some days later because the bare number of descendant's seemed an unsatisfactory explanation of the myth.

From the methodology of science nature and number are mostly associated in some way or another. Therefore, besides the number of offspring also their nature had to be inspected and that led to the saturation of genes in the offspring. But of course, afterwards this analysis looks somewhat silly.

If we look for a common factor between the trees of Paradise, they must lie in the same space. And that is only possible if sexuality and religion have common space. Now happily religion is but a subspace of sexual space. And both have only one natural dimension in common: inbreeding is a physical and timeless variable. This means beforehand that inbreeding must be the common factor. What is perfect circular reasoning.

Hereafter we conclude that the common factor between sexuality and religion must be inbreeding. And that the causal relation is immortality caused by inbreeding. (The yellow band is the common factor: Inbreeding).

The trees are like vectors in space. Within 6 symbolic iterations they converge to their basic dimension: Inbreeding and incest. On this factor they must capitalize most of their common variance.

In sociological sense, paradise myth is the blueprint of morality in human culture. Norms and values, customs and habits are expressed on the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. These rules prescribe mandatory an appropriate lifestyle to attain immortality on the Tree of Life. Hence, religious systems optimize eternal life like economics maximizes prosperity.

Therefore the myth says that the Tree of Knowledge provides the right knowledge to reach immortality on the Tree of Life. In this version adultery and refusal of arranged marriages are prohibited. Because inbreeding and incest offers the only way in which males can obtain genetic immortality and/or reincarnation into the (earthly) universe.

Later in evolution, genetic immortality was replaced by reincarnation.

Only because of endogamous cultures like Islam we are still able to look far back in the evolution of human religion. In Islamic culture the origins of human religion can still be studied as anachronisms in the field of modern society.

Animal religion makes sense, human religion does not

In the evolution of the Myth of Paradise we see the transition from animal religion to human religion. We see the steps taken from sense to nonsense. Animal religion makes sense, human religion does not. Want to say that stimulus substitution from genetic immortality to reincarnation into the parallel universe is nonsense:

Assumption 143: Operant conditioning:

Human inbreeding developed as an operant response followed by a reinforcing stimulus of genetic immortality in the (earthly) universe.

Operant responseinbreeding
Primary reinforcing stimulus: genetic immortality in the offspring
Secondary reinforcing stimulus: reincarnation into the (earthly) universe

Assumption 153: With the invention of earthly reincarnation inbreeding lost its rational connection with genetic immortality and now became magically bound to earthly reincarnation. And in a way it still made sense. Males could only reincarnate safely into their own tribe if they enforced inbreeding on women during lifetime. Hence, inbreeding was not meant for immortality of their genes any longer, but instead inbred bodies served for reincarnation. And this latter relation became the principal connection in the inbreeding instinct, because it was the best reinforcer of inbreeding.

Operant responseinbreeding
Primary reinforcing stimulus: genetic immortality in the offspring.
Later reinforcing stimulus: reincarnation into the (earthly) universe.
Later reinforcing stimulus: reincarnation into the parallel universe.

In the story of Adam and Eve, we comprehend the development of human religion in a nutshell. Religion bends the rules of logic into magical thinking. That’s when cause and effect relations are reversed and magical thinking takes over from rational thinking.

The extreme absence of any logic gives religious thinking its magical charm what is badly needed for belief in the impossible afterlife. People kill each other because they desperately protect their magical dreams and don’t want to think rationally. They can’t stand ‘living for nothing’.

But in their collective unconsciousness they know that their rage is not against religious opponents but against their own fear to be lost in the universe by distortion of their impossible dreams.

First of all, note that in this analysis, there is a stepped effect: The first effect is the genetic immortality of men (brown numbers 2,3,4), which is expressed in the number of descendants by the prohibition of adultery. A quantity attribute.

In addition comes an inbreeding effect. It is the purification of the family genes
(yellow 5,6). This relates to the nature of the descendants. A quality feature.

Here we place the origin of the paradise story to the Homininae (7 Ma; 400cc). The yellow area is the sex-religion factor in the mind of men. Here, the first thoughts about sexuality and immortality in his unconscious came together. It is the primal dimension of sexual religiosity. All other human ethics - as is assumed here - emerged  from this ground dimension of ethics.

Metaphor: Eating the good (inbreeding) from the tree of knowledge will give earthly immortality of the gene pool of the man in his own tribe. But who eats from evil (outbreeding) will remain mortal, meaning his genes will spread over all other tribes, so he loses tribal identity. Then the tribe will die as group identity.

(Actually, inbreeding was attained by eating from the Tree of Life and outbreeding from the Tree of Knowledge.)

Next, we find the ultimate agreement between sexuality and religion in the yellow area in the middle as the sex-religion factor. This is referred to as convergence. But as a Gestalt, it is more than the parts.

There arises something new, an inbreeding factor. This was not expected in the analysis but resulted as an inevitable consequence of the technique chosen. The factor was found by the methodological principle that quantity (number of offspring) mostly is accompanied by quality (saturated inbreeding).

Literally: Who lets his wife not commit adultery will acquire earthly immortality. His genes will live on into her children. But who lets her commit adultery will possibly die out in the genes of her children.

Of course there is more which is associated with adultery, as the wounded pride and honor of the man. These feelings come together on the sex-religion factor as well as sexual lust. All these feelings are an additional basis for stoning. However, they do not contribute to a full explanation of paradise story. Therefore adultery is only an inadequate interpretation of this narrative. But along with genetic immortality and inbreeding there is a complete fit.

Adultery,  woman's ultimate weapon

Deep in the unconscious of every man lurks the fear of the sexual power of women. Sexuality is the only instinct on which he has virtually no control. A woman as the bearer of life handles sexuality more naturally. She can admit anybody to her lap. For example if she commits adultery with the Serpent and gives the child as its fruit to Adam. When Adam acknowledges this child it makes himself guilty of ignorance. Therefore, Adam had to take advance measures against adultery.

Paradise story was an initiation rite
Paradise story was likely part of an initiation rite. Many thousands of years it passed from father to son at the time of his maturity. It was so functional in the archetypal sense that it passed the ravages of time. The importance of the story was the survival of the family, living in paradise, the place where the son grew up. The warning of the father concerned the sexual desires of the woman.

Her power as carrier of life was the mortality of his family. She could admit anyone to her lap. Thereby were her sexual desires a threat to the survival of the gene pool of the father.

She had the power to block the transfer of his son's genes into her children. This allowed the father family could literally die out. This is the key to paradise story. It is this mortality phobia within the paradise story which the father became an obsession. He threatened his son even with expulsion from the family and the expulsion from paradise in which he was reared. This, if he were unable to restrain the desires of his wife.
