Then, according to my theory there must have been a man in the house who killed Mirjam. One possible scenario is that he was in the kitchen and intercepted a ping message on Mirjam's phone. He then flew into a rage and grabbed a knife from the kitchen drawer and premeditatedly ran up the stairs and stabbed Mirjam in the heart.
